Koyote's Bbaekga (44) has suffered the loss of his mother.
Koyote's agency, JG Star, announced, "Bbaekga's mother passed away on the 20th due to a chronic illness. Bbaekga is currently keeping watch at the funeral," requesting "warm condolences and consideration so that Bbaekga and his family can grieve together during this time."
Bbaekga had previously revealed in January that his mother's health was deteriorating and that she was undergoing treatment.
On SBS PPWER FM's 'Cultwo Show', a listener shared, "I saw Bbaekga and his mother shopping together happily at a supermarket in Gimpo," to which Bbaekga responded, "My mother was recovering her health after being ill. She's been receiving treatment," expressing his sorrow.
Previously, Bbaekga had shared amusing stories about his school days with his mother on a broadcast, which became a hot topic.
According to Bbaekga, his mother, known for her unique and candid personality, had a way of disciplining him and his sibling during their extraordinary school days or when they fought, in ways one would never expect.
Recently, as the anecdotes Bbaekga shared about his mother on variety shows gained renewed attention, Bbaekga expressed his gratitude, saying, "Many people are curious about my mother or ask for her to appear on shows with me," showing appreciation for the interest in his mother.
