Forestella's Ko Woorim expressed his gratitude to those who patiently awaited his return from military service.
To celebrate Ko Woorim's discharge, Forestella hosted a live broadcast titled 'WELCOME BACK WOORIM' on their official YouTube channel on the afternoon of the 19th.
Freshly discharged, Ko Woorim, with military discipline still evident, announced, "Loyal reserve sergeant, Ko Woorim, has been officially discharged as of May 19, 2025. Reporting this." He added, "I'm sure my nervousness is showing on my face today."
After blowing out the candles on a soldier-shaped cake prepared by the members, Ko stated, "I'll work hard moving forward," and in response to members telling him to make a wish with the heart of a private, he declared, "Everyone, I sincerely promise to make Forestella's activities spectacular and to carve out a second chapter in Forestella's life."
The conversation then delved deeper with Ko Woorim. He first discussed last year's live show 'FNL: Forestella Night Live' hosted by the three members.
At the time, Kang Hyung-ho dressed as a character from 'Squid Game', Jo Min-gyu as the fifth element, and Bae Doo-hoon as Pengsoo, performing a skit titled 'Mr. Fo's Makeup Room'. Ko recalled, "The moment I entered the dressing room and saw Doo-hoon, my knees buckled. It hit me how much they were sacrificing at that moment."
Ko continued, "I think the members were enjoying it to some extent, but initially, I felt sorry for them, thinking about the effort they were putting in and wondering whose idea it was. If I had been in makeup, I can't even imagine what I would have done."
Ko then expressed his gratitude towards the three members who continued to perform as 'Samfore' during his military service, strengthening their teamwork. He also shared candid stories about his military life and expressed his appreciation to his fans.
Ko mentioned, "Realizing how many people were waiting for me outside the military made me feel truly grateful and happy. Now that I'm discharged, I'll strive to exceed what I've previously shown. With Forestella back as a complete group, I hope you'll all look forward to and support us."
Additionally, Ko showcased his comedic talent with the members through funny makeup sessions, shared his thoughts as an artist, and reaffirmed his determination. The members also welcomed Ko back, promising more active engagements, raising expectations.
Meanwhile, Forestella will start recruiting the 3rd generation of their official fan club 'Forest Star' through the fandom platform Fromm starting the 20th. Celebrating their 7th debut anniversary this year, Forestella, now complete, plans to engage in a wider range of music, performances, and broadcast activities, continuing to strengthen their bond with 'Forest Star'.
