The film 'Salmokji' (working title), featuring Kim Hye-yoon, Lee Jong-won, Kim Jun-han, Kim Young-sung, Oh Dong-min, Yoon Jae-chan, and Jang Da-ah, has finalized its casting lineup and officially started shooting on May 10th.

'Salmokji' (working title) is a horror film about a filming crew who heads to a reservoir for a road view update, only to encounter something dark and deep in the water. The movie aims to deliver a vivid, experiential horror experience, drawing from the eerie and unfamiliar setting of the reservoir to pique curiosity.

Following the announcement of Kim Hye-yoon's casting, Kim Jun-han joins the film as 'Su-in's (played by Kim Hye-yoon) boss 'Gyo-sik', adding layers of mystery to the plot. Known for his nuanced performances in 'Good Partner', 'Hospital Playlist', the series 'ANNA', and the film 'Beasts Clawing at Straws', Kim Jun-han's venture into the horror genre is highly anticipated.

Kim Young-sung and Oh Dong-min add fresh charm to the film as brothers running a road view filming company. Kim Young-sung, who has impressed in 'Detective Chief 1958', 'The Fiery Priest 2', and 'The Roundup', and even snagged the Best New Actor award at the 'Bu-il Film Awards' in 2024 for 'Big Sleep', plays the role of 'Kyung-tae', a veteran stuck in his ways. Oh Dong-min, a former navy search and rescue team PD, takes on the role of 'Kyung-jun'. With his powerful performances in 'Metropolitan Love', 'Gyeongseong Creature Season 2', and 'Dr. Slump', expectations are high for his immersive acting in this film.

Lastly, Yoon Jae-chan and Jang Da-ah make their screen debut with 'Salmokji' (working title), amplifying the anticipation. Yoon Jae-chan, who has portrayed both the sparkling youth and dark, rebellious sides in 'Love Your Enemy', and 'Twinkling Watermelon', takes on the role of 'Seong-bin', the youngest team member following 'Su-in'. Jang Da-ah, who delivered a fresh shock as the top contender in the brutal survival hierarchy of 'Pyramid Game', attempts a new transformation as 'Se-jung', the operator of a horror broadcasting channel.

Director Lee Sang-min shared, "Meeting such wonderful actors and staff makes every moment thrilling and dreamlike. I'm committed to creating a film that will make audiences glad they saw it in theaters, offering a novel experience."
