'Spring of Youth' members Ha Yoo-jun, Park Ji-hu, Lee Seung-hyub, Seo Hye-won, and Kim Sun-min dive into intense practice sessions for their first performance since forming the band 'Two Sagye'.
Broadcast on the 6th and 7th, the first and second episodes of SBS's youth drama 'Spring of Youth' (written by Kim Min-chul, directed by Kim Sung-yong) have made a promising start by ranking 6th in TV drama buzz for the second week of May, according to Good Data Corporation's FUNdex, a platform for analyzing the competitiveness of K-Content. 'Spring of Youth' is a fresh take on youth romance dramas, blending the sweet thrill of first love with musical elements that are a feast for the ears, earning it rave reviews as a "drama that makes your lips curl up into a smile automatically" and building a dedicated fanbase.
In the second episode, after being forced out of 'The Crown', Sagye (Ha Yoo-jun) meets the dean's (Kim Byung-ki) challenging condition of recruiting '300 members', forming a new band at Hanju University called 'Two Sagye'. The storyline has piqued interest in the future endeavors of Sagye, along with Kim Bom (Park Ji-hu), Bae Kyu-ri (Seo Hye-won), Gong Jin-gu (Kim Sun-min), and the former head of the Hanju University band club, Seo Tae-yang (Lee Seung-hyub), who joins the group.
In the upcoming third episode of 'Spring of Youth', Ha Yoo-jun, Park Ji-hu, Lee Seung-hyub, Seo Hye-won, and Kim Sun-min will breathe together as 'Two Sagye' for the first time in a historic moment. The band kicks off their intense practice sessions as they are confirmed to join the official lineup for the Hanju University festival stage. Upon hearing the news, Kim Bom, Seo Tae-yang, Bae Kyu-ri, and Gong Jin-gu share their joy together.
However, as practice continues, Kim Bom stops the session with a stern expression, exclaiming, "A band is all about harmony!" leaving Sagye and Seo Tae-yang frozen in shock at her charisma. Moreover, the tension rises as 'Two Sagye' representatives, Bae Kyu-ri and Gong Jin-gu, also lose their cool, raising questions about whether the band can successfully complete their first official schedule at the Hanju University festival.
Meanwhile, Ha Yoo-jun, Park Ji-hu, Lee Seung-hyub, Seo Hye-won, and Kim Sun-min showed off their fresh chemistry during the 'Two Sagye intense practice' scene, bringing automatic smiles to the staff's faces. The actors greeted each other with joy and laughter on set, and their increasingly fantastic synergy over several days of shooting highlighted their strong teamwork.
The production team shared, "The journey of 'Two Sagye' from its founding has been anything but easy," adding, "In the third episode airing on the 14th, whether 'Two Sagye' can deliver a stunning turnaround, stay tuned for their exciting story."
The third episode of 'Spring of Youth' airs on the 14th at 10:40 PM.
