Jeong Joong-sik and Jang Jae-na found themselves at odds over their dream home.
On the May 12th episode of SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2: You Are My Destiny', the journey of Jeong Joong-sik and Jang Jae-na as they prepared for marriage was showcased.
During the episode, Jeong Joong-sik and Jang Jae-na went house hunting for their future home. Despite having different preferences, they first checked out a sleek, newly built villa.
While Jang Jae-na was visibly pleased throughout, Jeong Joong-sik seemed less than impressed.
Jang Jae-na explained, "Joong-sik, this house feels warm and cozy. That's why I'm in a good mood. I have a lot of criteria though. The budget needs to be right, it should be within an hour from work, having an elevator would be great, a nearby park would be a plus, and I'd like it to have at least three bedrooms. I have a lot of specific conditions."
Jeong Joong-sik shook his head in disbelief, "There's no such house. Especially not for newlyweds like us."
Jeong Joong-sik expressed his dissatisfaction with the small size of the newly built villa Jang Jae-na liked, considering its price. He then took her to see an older villa he had found.
Located in Daechi-dong, the older villa presented parking challenges from the get-go. However, its four bedrooms and a secret attic room captivated Jeong Joong-sik.
Unlike Joong-sik, Jang Jae-na was disappointed with the price not matching their budget and several other conditions.
Jang Jae-na preferred the new villa, while Jeong Joong-sik was drawn to the older one. Bridging their differing desires proved challenging.
Frustrated, Jeong Joong-sik exclaimed, "How does everyone else manage to get married?" He lamented that the perfect house just doesn't exist, saying, "All the good houses already have owners." Jang Jae-na countered, "That's why we need to keep looking until we find the right one."
Eventually, Jeong Joong-sik decided, "No, I have to go today," indicating he couldn't continue the search. When Jang Jae-na asked why, Jeong Joong-sik replied, "We have our wedding shoot tomorrow," leaving Jang Jae-na dumbfounded.
Jang Jae-na retorted, "Are you doing the wedding shoot alone? I'm in it too," to which Jeong Joong-sik humorously responded, "No, but if we keep this up, my face will be all swollen tomorrow, and I'll look weird in the photos," eliciting laughter.
