Actors Jin Sun-kyu, Gong Myoung, Kim Ji-seok, Yoon Kyung-ho, Kang Han-na, and Lee Da-hee are teaming up for the Netflix film 'Husbands' (literal title).

'Husbands' is a comedic action film that follows an unpredictable mission by a former husband, 'Chung-sik', and the current husband, 'Min-seok', who reluctantly join forces to rescue their wife kidnapped by a criminal organization.

Directed by Park Gyu-tae, who previously delivered a multi-dimensional fun and character synergy in the comedy film '6/45', 'Husbands' promises to dynamically portray the desperate struggles of two men, who seem unlikely to ever collaborate, in their quest to save their wife.

The unique casting lineup is also attracting attention. Jin Sun-kyu and Gong Myoung, who previously captivated 16 million viewers with 'Extreme Job', reunite as the former and current husbands, respectively. Jin Sun-kyu, known for his flawless character portrayals across various genres and eras in films like 'The Outlaws', 'Amazon Bullseye', 'Alienoid Part 2', and dramas 'The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch', 'Revenant', plays 'Chung-sik', a dedicated detective who dives into a rescue mission upon hearing his ex-wife 'Si-nae' has been kidnapped, right after arresting the leader of a new drug organization.

Gong Myoung, portraying the younger and more genteel current husband 'Min-seok', is recognized for his nuanced and stable performances in series like 'Way Back Love', 'Citizen of a Kind', and 'Killing Romance'. As a veterinarian, 'Min-seok' joins forces with his wife's ex-husband 'Chung-sik' in a dangerous mission driven by the sole purpose of saving her. The reunion of Jin Sun-kyu and Gong Myoung, who previously showcased perfect comedic timing in 'Extreme Job', raises anticipation for the new chemistry they will bring to the screen.

Kim Ji-seok takes on the role of 'Do-jun', the leader of a cutting-edge drug organization, showcasing his versatility in dramas and variety shows like 'New Recruit 2', 'When the Camellia Blooms', and 'Kiss Sixth Sense'. Yoon Kyung-ho, who received much love for his role in the Netflix series 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Cal', plays 'Yong-kang', another gang leader striving to reclaim his territory from 'Do-jun'.

Kang Han-na, known for her multifaceted characters in 'About Family', 'Frankly Speaking', and 'Start-Up', portrays 'Si-nae', the wife kidnapped by the drug gang. Despite her dire situation, 'Si-nae' remains defiant, promising to unveil a new charm. Lee Da-hee, who has made a strong impression in Netflix's 'Single's Inferno', drama 'The Divorce Insurance', and series 'Island', plays 'Hye-ran', 'Do-jun''s wife and a key figure in the drug business, promising a fresh transformation.
