After a hiatus of over three years due to military service obligations, the group WINNER is set to reconnect with fans through a concert.
On the 7th, YG Entertainment expressed their gratitude, stating, "We sincerely thank the fans for their unwavering love and patience throughout this time." They also announced the upcoming concert in July.
However, MINO, who is under investigation for allegations of inadequate military service, will not be participating in this concert.
The agency acknowledged the difficult decision-making process, saying, "It's true that we had many concerns about proceeding with the performance." They added, "But in consideration of the fans who have been eagerly waiting for WINNER's return and the members' strong desire to meet their fans, we decided to go ahead with the concert as planned."
They further requested, "This decision was not made lightly, and we ask for your warm support and encouragement. Details of the concert will be announced separately at a later date."
Previously, MINO completed his 1 year and 9 months of service as a public service worker on December 23 last year. However, he faced allegations of not fulfilling his service hours due to sick leave and annual leave, leading to three rounds of investigations. While MINO claimed to have served dutifully, it is reported that the investigation largely confirmed the allegations against him.
