Girls' Generation's Taeyeon, who is currently on her Asia tour, has canceled her Japan concert just two days before it was set to open.

SM Entertainment, Taeyeon's agency, announced on their official Japanese website on the 17th that her solo concert, 'The TENSE,' celebrating her 10th anniversary as a solo artist, scheduled for the 19th and 20th at Tokyo's Ariake Arena, has been canceled.

SM Entertainment explained, "The equipment being used for the Asia tour is currently being transported to Japan, but it has not arrived yet. This makes it extremely difficult to adequately prepare for the concert."

They added, "Despite repeated discussions with the relevant departments to explore all possibilities, we have concluded that holding the concert is not feasible. We sincerely apologize to those who were looking forward to the event. We are also considering the possibility of a rescheduled performance and will provide further updates as soon as decisions are made."

Taeyeon kicked off her Asia tour in Seoul from March 7th to 9th. After the Japan concert, she was originally scheduled to perform in Macau, Singapore, Bangkok, and Hong Kong.
