YouTuber Tzuyang (Park Jung-won) has filed charges against Kim Se-ui from the YouTube channel Hover Lab for violating anti-stalking laws and making threats. Tzuyang stated, "There should be no more victims like me."
On the morning of the 16th, Tzuyang appeared at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul for questioning as the complainant. She expressed, "I felt scared and didn't want to fight, but I will cooperate fully with the investigation to ensure no one else has to go through what I did."
Tzuyang's attorney, Kim Tae-yeon, explained, "From July to October last year, Mr. Kim mentioned Ms. Park over 30 to 40 times, persistently harassing her. The court has twice issued provisional measures identifying Mr. Kim as a stalker and ordering him to cease his actions against the victim."
Previously, Tzuyang had filed charges against Kim Se-ui for violating anti-stalking laws, making threats, and coercion. However, in February of this year, the police decided not to forward the case due to insufficient evidence. The prosecution accepted Tzuyang's appeal and requested further investigation from the police last month.
In a February interview with JTBC News, Tzuyang shared her distress, saying, "There are rumors about me being a Chinese spy or being involved in politics. I've never even been to China, and I have no political ties. People say I'm pretending to be a victim or that the prosecution is moving too quickly because I'm connected to them. It feels like they just want to destroy me."
