The film 'The Heartbroken Club' (literal translation) starring Suzy and Lee Jin-wook, has successfully wrapped up filming.

Starting in late December last year, the film took about three months to shoot. Audiences are eager to see how Suzy, Lee Jin-wook, Yoo Ji-tae, and Geum Sae-rok have captured the essence of love and heartbreak against a winter backdrop.

'The Heartbroken Club' is based on the 2012 novel by Baek Young-ok. The story follows Sa-gang (played by Suzy) and Ji-hoon (played by Lee Jin-wook) as they meet at a breakfast club, each bringing their own stories of heartbreak. They exchange 'breakup mementos' and share their experiences, offering a narrative about coping with love lost.

In the film, Suzy plays 'Sa-gang,' who delicately portrays the love and breakup with airline captain Jung-soo (played by Yoo Ji-tae), showcasing her depth as an actress.

Suzy shared, "It was a joyful filming experience with a great director and cast. Reading the original novel was fun, and watching it come to life on screen was a unique experience. I hope audiences find the same warmth and comfort in the film that I did while playing Sa-gang."

Lee Jin-wook, who plays the role of consultant 'Ji-hoon,' delivers a profound performance, exploring the realistic love and separation of long-term couples, including his relationship with Hyun-jung (played by Geum Sae-rok).

Lee Jin-wook expressed, "I'm happy we completed filming safely, though I feel a bit of sadness too. Working with such talented actors brought a positive energy to the set. I hope the audience feels the warmth and empathy we tried to convey through the film."

We will continue to work hard in post-production to deliver a great film to the audience."

'The Heartbroken Club' is set to hit theaters this winter, aiming for a release in the latter half of the year.
