Entertainer Jo Jung-sik has signed an exclusive contract with SM C&C.
On April 2, SM C&C announced, "We are thrilled to welcome Jo Jung-sik, who combines a passion for humor with eloquent speaking skills. We will provide full support to help him showcase his talents." This marks the beginning of their partnership.
Jo Jung-sik joined SBS in 2012 as part of its 18th group of announcers, where he excelled in various fields such as cultural programs, sports broadcasting, radio hosting, and entertainment shows. He later expanded his reach to YouTube, making a name for himself as a charismatic host on SBS Mobidic's 'Jessi's Showterview,' 'Jung-sik's Request,' and 'Why Not Crew' Seasons 1 and 2.
In 2023, Jo Jung-sik made headlines by releasing his self-composed song 'Declaration' along with a music video, showcasing his impressive singing and rapping skills. The song, which conveys his aspirations post-resignation, resonated with audiences in this era of self-promotion. Following his departure, he appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star,' where his fresh impersonations and surprising comedic talent earned him praise as a promising entertainer.
Last year, Jo Jung-sik made history as the first host from another network to host KBS Cool FM's 'Jo Jung-sik's FM Parade,' where he engages with listeners every morning from 7 to 9 AM with his lively energy. Notably, in his first year as a host, he won the 'host of the Year' award at the 2024 KBS Entertainment Awards.
With Jo Jung-sik, a witty MC and entertainer, joining forces with SM C&C, known for its top-notch management system and roster of talented artists, there is great anticipation for the synergy they will create.
