'Acute Appendicitis' Forces Ha Jung-woo to Postpone Interview; Rescheduling to Be Announced Soon

Actor Ha Jung-woo has canceled his interview for his directorial project due to health issues.

On the 26th, Showbox, the distributor of the film 'Lobby', announced, "We have decided to cancel the official interview with director and actor Ha Jung-woo, which was scheduled for the 28th." They added, "We will reschedule the interview once his health condition is reassessed."

Ha Jung-woo was supposed to attend the press screening and media conference for 'Lobby' on the 25th. However, he experienced unusual symptoms that morning and was diagnosed with acute appendicitis after a medical examination. He underwent surgery that afternoon and is currently recovering in the hospital.

As a result, the interview for 'Lobby' that was set for the 28th has also been canceled. Known for his passion for promoting his films, Ha Jung-woo was reportedly eager to proceed with the interview. Showbox stated that they will decide on the interview's rescheduling based on his recovery progress.

'Lobby' is a black comedy film that tells the story of Yoon Chang-wook, a startup CEO who knows nothing but research, as he embarks on a golf lobbying adventure to secure a 4 trillion won government project. Ha Jung-woo not only stars in the film but also directed it. The movie is set to be released on the 2nd.
