Actress Ha Seo-yoon is set to showcase a new acting transformation in the film 'Streaming'.
'Streaming' is a thriller that follows the story of Woo-sang (played by Kang Ha-neul), the top streamer of a crime channel, who discovers a clue to an unsolved serial murder case and broadcasts his pursuit of the culprit in real-time.
In the film, Ha Seo-yoon appears as 'Matilda', a guest streamer who co-hosts the broadcast with Woo-sang. Willing to do anything for fame, she frequently clashes with Woo-sang, creating a unique chemistry that heightens the immersion in the live-streamed events.
In 'Streaming', Ha Seo-yoon brings Matilda's detailed characteristics to life with realistic acting, from her speech and interactions to her engagement with live broadcast viewers.
Ha Seo-yoon has captivated audiences with her stable acting skills, building her own filmography despite being a relatively new actress. Notably, in JTBC's 'Family by Choice', she portrayed 'Joo Do-hee', a character who is daring in love but struggles to find her emotional footing, depicting the growth of youth from high school days to ten years later, enhancing the show's engagement. Her irresistible charm also captivated home viewers.
In the recent KBS 2TV weekend drama 'Iron Family', she played 'Song Soo-ji', a police officer and the prospective daughter-in-law of a reputable laundry family. Despite her usually easygoing demeanor, she showed deep concern for her fiance Moo-rim (played by Hyun-jun Kim) with expressive eyes, delicately portraying a wide range of emotions.
Additionally, she took on the role of 'Queen Oh' in tvN's historical drama 'Captivating the King', and in last year's film 'Time to Be Strong', she played 'Sa-rang', a retired idol, showcasing her exceptional dance skills and nuanced emotional expressions. With each project, Ha Seo-yoon has demonstrated diverse visuals and strong character adaptability, drawing attention to what new persona she will reveal in 'Streaming'.
The film 'Streaming', featuring Ha Seo-yoon, premieres today (21st) in theaters nationwide.
