Jeong Dong-won, who will turn 18 next year, reflected on his debut days as he released his second full-length album, "Gift from a Tall Guy" (literal translation).

At a media showcase held at the Nodeul Island Live House in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of March 13, Jeong Dong-won was asked what has changed the most since his debut. He humorously replied, "I've grown a lot taller."

Jeong Dong-won, who debuted as one of the top 6 contestants on "Mr. Trot" in 2020, shared, "Back then, I was about 146cm tall, but now I'm 176cm. Over the years, I've had great brothers and uncles around me, and many fans have shown me love, which helped me grow positively." He expressed his gratitude.

Aside from his height, Jeong Dong-won noted that he has matured significantly. He explained, "In the past, I couldn't always understand the advice from the older singer brothers and uncles during phone calls. But now, I can have long conversations with them, sometimes lasting two hours, and I understand what they're saying, and they understand me. It makes me realize how much I've grown."

Jeong Dong-won also mentioned receiving support from the "Mr. Trot" top 6 members while preparing for his album. He received the most encouragement from singer Young Tak, he shared.

"Uncle Young Tak loves exploring various genres, which inspires me a lot. He often praises me when I incorporate fresh ideas into my songs and promised to watch my performances at music shows," Jeong Dong-won shared gratefully.

This marks Jeong Dong-won's return with a full-length album nearly three years after his first album, "Longing, the Giving Tree" (literal translation) released in November 2021.

The new album, "Gift from a Tall Guy," features double title tracks "Heung!" (Feat. Kim Ha-on) and "Flower Lantern," along with songs like "Gift," "Only U," "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life," "Show up," "The Age to Start Love," "Again 1,2,3,4," "Four-Leaf Clover," "No Matter What Wind Blows, No Matter What Season Comes Again," and "Someday, Us."

The album will be released on March13 at 6 PM.
