The fandom of the group NewJeans has submitted a petition to the court in support of the members' independent activities under NJZ.

The NewJeans fandom, Bunnies, announced on March 13 that they submitted a petition signed by over 30,000 domestic and international fans to the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Division 50 (Presiding Judge Kim Sang-hoon). The petition reportedly includes signatures collected from fans worldwide since the 24th of last month.

In the petition, Bunnies stated, "HYBE and Chairman Bang Si-hyuk have intentionally discriminated against the members, and this hostile environment is unlikely to change," adding that "it is too harsh to bind and neglect NJZ members in a place where they cannot pursue their dreams and lives."

The NewJeans fandom expressed, "If the members are forced to continue exclusive activities in a hostile environment where trust has been broken, it will only prolong their suffering, and fans will no longer be able to enjoy the members' music and entertainment activities with joy." They urged the court to dismiss ADOR's injunction request.

Earlier, ADOR filed an injunction with the Seoul Central District Court to prohibit the NewJeans members, who had notified the company of their contract termination and embarked on independent activities, from maintaining their agency status and signing advertising contracts. The court will conclude the hearing after receiving additional materials by the 14th.
