Singer and actress Suzy has been chosen as the star of Disney's first musical film of 2025, 'Snow White,' for a special collaboration.
The distribution company, Walt Disney Company Korea, announced on the 6th that they would be holding a 'Guess Who?' event to tease the special collaboration with top domestic artists for the fantasy musical 'Snow White.'
The photo released that day features a domestic artist hidden under a red hooded cape. Previously, artists like Taeyeon from 'Frozen 2,' Suhyun from AKMU in 'Mulan,' Daniel from NewJeans in 'The Little Mermaid,' Ahn Yujin from IVE in 'Wish,' and Nayeon from TWICE in 'Moana 2' have participated in special collaborations with Disney, showcasing their vocal talents and popularity, each bringing unique emotional depth to the projects.
As the release of 'Snow White' approaches, interest in the special collaboration's star is heating up. Following the photo release, many netizens expressed their belief that Suzy is the one, generating excitement for the collaboration.
'Snow White' tells the magical story of Disney's first princess, who fights to reclaim her kingdom from an evil queen with a pure heart and courage. The film is produced by the same team behind beloved Disney musicals like 'Beauty and the Beast' and 'Aladdin,' with music directed by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, known for their work on 'Aladdin' and 'The Greatest Showman.'
'Snow White' is set to be released in South Korea on the 19th.
