SBS's 'Tails of Tales' will unveil the thrilling backstory of the 'Series of Bank Cash Transport Vehicle Heists,' dubbed the Korean version of 'Ocean's Eleven.'
The 165th episode of 'Tails of Tales,' airing on the 6th, will feature actors Jin Seo-yeon, musical actor Kim Ho-young, and singer Tei as guests, diving into the story of how cash was swiftly stolen from the trunk of a cash transport vehicle in this notorious heist.
Notably, Kim Ho-young astounds the host, Jang Do-yeon, by accurately guessing the location of the incident before she even begins to narrate, exclaiming, "The crime happened in front of the police station?" This leaves Jang Do-yeon visibly shaken, prompting her to joke, "That's creepy! Can you read my fortune?" and burst into laughter.
Tei expresses his disappointment over the lack of witnesses in the 'Series of Bank Cash Transport Vehicle Heists,' saying, "I can't be a detective. I tried to investigate for a bit, and it was so tough. Hats off to the detectives!" He seems to get lost in the captivating story, empathizing with the detectives involved.
In the meantime, Detective Jang Young-kwon, the real-life inspiration for the character played by Ma Dong-seok in the movie 'The Outlaws,' will share his insights as an interviewer, revealing the pursuit of key suspects in the 'Series of Bank Cash Transport Vehicle Heists.' Despite the suspects having solid alibis and insufficient evidence, he recalls, "I instinctively thought these guys were the culprits," showcasing the relentless determination of him and his veteran colleagues throughout the investigation. Viewers can look forward to the full story in the upcoming broadcast.
The production team of 'Tails of Tales' stated, "This week, we will revisit the cash transport vehicle heists in Gyeongju and Busan, shedding light on the intense cat-and-mouse game between criminals aiming for the perfect crime and veteran detectives. This is why it has been referred to as the Korean version of 'Ocean's Eleven.' Stay tuned!"
'Tails of Tales' will air on the 6th at 10:20 PM.
