Comedian Park Na-rae recalled an unexpectedly awkward moment over a photo from comedian Yang Se-hyung.
On March 3, Park Na-rae and Yang Se-hyung appaeared on the YouTube show "Zzan Bro," hosted by entertainers Shin Dong-yeob and Jung Ho-chul.
In this video, Jung Ho-chul was seen curiously asking them, "How did the rumor about you two being a couple even start?"
Park Na-rae jokingly responded, "It's not a rumor," to which Yang Se-hyung shot back, "What? Are you crazy? Are you trying to make money off this or something? You've officially lost it," making everyone laugh.
Park Na-rae then shared, "My mom absolutely loves Se-hyung. She always says she wishes I'd marry him and kept telling me to date a fellow comedian. But you know how it is—comedians tend to have high standards when it comes to dating."
She continued, "They don't really like dating female comedians they work with. Or... is it just me?"
At that, Yang Se-hyung chimed in, "No, that's not it. My standards are actually pretty low. But if I go for you, that means lowering my standard even lower," cracking everyone up.
Jung Ho-chul then asked, "You've been friends for so long though. Have you ever thought, 'Maybe we should give it a shot'?"
Park Na-rae replied, "As I said, my mom loves Se-hyung so much she even made him kimchi and fig jam once. I sent them to him, and he texted me a photo to say he got them."
Then she added, "But when I opened the photo, he was completely topless. He was just standing there with no shirt on, holding the shopping bag. I had no idea how to take it."
Yang Se-hyung quickly explained, "I was about to hop in the shower and didn't want to forget to send the photo, so I just snapped it real quick. I was naked, but made sure I only had my top half in the photo."
Park Na-rae admitted that she totally misread the situation then, and Yang Se-hyung laughed and said, "Okay, I won't do that again. My bad. That was a total fail on my part!"
