Actor Lee Kwang Soo upset his close friend, D.O. of K-pop boy group EXO, by not recognizing his song.
On February 6 episode of tvN's television show "Green Bean, Red Bean Spin-Off: Cafeteria Operation," the final day of Lee Kwang Soo and D.O.'s cafeteria operation was revealed.
In this episode, Lee Kwang Soo, D.O., and part-time worker hip-hop artist Lee Young Ji went to see the marketing team to see if they could help find another part-timer for the evening shift.
The three of them and the marketing team played a game against each other, where they had to guess the group name and song title just by hearing the intro.
The team with the most correct answers would get to make a request of the other team.
When it was Lee Kwang Soo's turn, the production team played EXO's "CALL ME BABY," one of their most popular songs, and the marketing team quickly nailed the correct answer.
D.O. turned to Lee Kwang Soo and said, "You seriously don't know this one?" in disbelief.
Lee Kwang Soo tried to explain, "I know the song, I just missed the opportunity to say it loud," but D.O. shot him a frustrated look, which made everyone laugh.
Right then, the production team accidentally played the next part of "CALL ME BABY," and Lee Kwang Soo quickly said, "Oh! That part was sung by D.O.!" to cover himself, but D.O. firmly commented, saying, "That's not me."
Lee Kwang Soo jokingly replied, "Well, you guys sound pretty similar. I guess that's why you guys are EXO," making D.O. shake his head and sigh.
Lee Kwang Soo and D.O. are part of a celebrity group of friends that also includes actors Kim Woo Bin, Zo In Sung, Bae Seong Woo, Kim Ki-bang, and more.
