After winning the Grand Prize at the '2024 SBS Drama Awards' for her role in the drama 'Good Partner,' Jang Nara will open her own bakery in the two-part food documentary 'THE BREAD' airing on SBS Special.
Jang Nara, who has expressed a desire to be a bakery owner if she were to be reborn, will transform into a 'bakery owner' in this documentary, inviting viewers into the sweet and enchanting world of bread. From the 'nostalgic buttercream cake' she could only enjoy on special occasions during her childhood to the 'hottest bread' that requires a wait of over four hours, she will showcase a variety of bread-making stories that resonate across generations.
Having enjoyed home baking as a long-time hobby, Jang Nara will make her broadcast debut by kneading dough and baking bread in the oven. Additionally, she will unveil the recipe for her signature cake, 'Rabbit Living in Snow Country,' which was born from her unique ideas, sparking curiosity among viewers.
Even now, when she feels physically and mentally exhausted from work, she finds comfort and healing by looking at delicious and beautiful cakes, often shedding tears. Recently, she was deeply moved by a chance encounter with a blueberry crumble cake, a moment she says she will never forget.
