'The Girl We Loved Back Then' tells the story of 'Jinwoo' (Jinyoung), who spends countless days trying to confess his feelings to 'Seonah' (Dahyun), capturing the essence of first love at eighteen.

The film is set to premiere in South Korea and Indonesia on February 21, followed by releases in Thailand on March 6, the Philippines on March 12, and subsequently in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. It will also be released simultaneously in South America, starting with Brazil.

Notably, in Vietnam, CGV Vietnam will take charge of distribution, implementing a more aggressive release strategy, which raises expectations for successful box office performance in the global market.

This film, a remake of the legendary movie that sparked a first love romance craze from Taiwan to South Korea, has garnered significant attention due to the special collaboration between K-pop stars Jinyoung, formerly of B1A4, and Dahyun from TWICE.

Even before its release, the film has attracted considerable interest from overseas buyers in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, with competitive bidding occurring in some regions, setting an unprecedented record for overseas pre-sales for a Korean film. As this project combines K-pop stars, there is great anticipation for how it will resonate with global fans, and it has already generated a strong response both domestically and internationally, making its global box office potential a focal point.

Amid the growing excitement, Jinyoung and Dahyun will visit Jakarta, Indonesia, from February 8 (Saturday) to February 11 (Tuesday) for special fan meetings. The two actors will attend a special premiere screening and red carpet event in Jakarta, sharing the thrill of first love depicted in the film and promising unforgettable moments for the audience.
