Actress Han Hye-jin spoke about her daughter with soccer player Ki Sung-yueng.
On January 21 episode of SBS' television show "Four Men," Han Hye-jin, actresses Park Ha Seon, and Hong Eun-hee made a guest appearance.
During the show, Han Hye-jin shared old photos from her school days, showcasing the beauty she was known for even back then.
When everyone teased her, saying, "You must've had boys following you everywhere," she laughed shyly and said, "Back in school, older students would even stop by my classroom just to see me."
Looking at the photos, the hosts were amazed and said, "Your beauty shines through, even in these low-quality photos. You look like Olivia Hussey!"
Han Hye-jin joked, "Oh, don't say that! I'm going to get some hate for that," but added, "It was a time when I didn't even bother wearing sunscreen."
When asked if she got a lot of group date offers back then, she recalled, "Well, no. I never went on group dates, but boys would often stop me on the street. They'd nervously go, 'Uh… excuse me…'"
Han Hye-jin also responded to a question about whether her daughter takes after her, saying, "She's actually a perfect blend of both of us. It's truly fascinating."
The hosts then brought up a comment from Park Ha Seon: "We heard your daughter is so beautiful it might be difficult for her to live a normal life. Ha Seon mentioned that earlier."
One of them, Lee Sang Min asked, "Is it true that she looks like you but has her dad's competitive streak?"
Han Hye-jin nodded and said, "Yes, she does. She looks like me, but she's incredibly competitive. She has to win no matter what."
She then shared a story about her daughter's time at a soccer academy: "One time, a friend stole the ball and scored, and my daughter cried so hard she could barely breathe. After that day, I realized if she wasn't planning to become a professional soccer player, it would be better for her to stop, so we decided to pull her out of the soccer academy."
Han Hye-jin shared how her husband's competitiveness can get intense, "Early in our marriage, he played Go-Stop with my mom. When my mom won, he refused to stop playing until he finally won."
She added with a laugh, "When my daughter and husband play board games together, it always ends in chaos. He never lets her win, and she refuses to lose. It's always tears and a total mess," making everyone laugh.
Han Hye-jin married 8-year-younger Ki Sung-yueng in August 2013. The couple has one daughter, Si-on.
