Actor Kwon Sang-woo shared he would choose to marry his wife, actress Son Tae-young, again if he were born again.
On January 20, actors Kwon Sang-woo, Lee Yi Kyung, and Hwang Woo Seul Hye—the stars of the upcoming movie "Hitman 2"—appeared as guests on comedian Shin Donb-yeob's YouTube show "Zzan Bro."
During the talk, Shin Dong-yeob asked Kwon Sang-woo, "How old were you when you got married?"
Kwon Sang-woo replied, "I got married at 33. I was a 'single' actor for about six or seven years, and I received a lot of love during that time. But I've been married for 16 years now, so I've spent much more time as a married man. Honestly, I barely even remember my single days."
Co-host Jung Ho-chul chimed in, asking, "Weren't you one of the first actors to marry another actor?"
Kwon Sang-woo said, "Yeah, that's right. Back then, quite a large number of my fans were disappointed, and I did lose quite a few of them."
He continued, "It certainly caused a lot of buzz at the time, but I always thought getting married at the right moment and raising kids at the right time was one of the greatest joys in life."
Shin Dong-yeob shared his perspective, saying, "When you and Son Tae-young got married, people in the industry were calculating how much money you'd lose because of it. But honestly, I thought to myself, 'What a decision! He's an amazing guy.'
Lee Yi Kyung jumped in, saying, "Watching Kwon Sang-woo makes me want to get married. He always says he'd choose his wife again in a heartbeat if he were born again. He also watches videos of his daughter on set every day. He's totally immersed in his family life, and it's truly inspiring."
Kwon Sang-woo wrapped up by saying, "Out of 365 days a year, there are maybe 10 or 20 days where I'd want some time off, but for the rest, I'm happiest when I'm with my family."
