Comedienne Kim Ji-min shared her sweet love story with her fiancé, comedian Kim Jun-ho, ahead of their wedding next year.
On December 19, Kim Ji-min took time to connect with her subscribers through a Q&A session on her YouTube channel.
When asked about a moment that made her heart flutter during her relationship with Kim Jun-ho, she responded, "The first one was about 3 to 4 years ago, when we were on a date. I totally fell for him then."
She continued, "On that day, he came out in a three-piece suit, but I thought he looked like an old man and wondered, 'Why is he dressed like that?' He was wearing old shoes with the toe lifted as well. I didn't like his style at all. But then, there was a moment when his manners and the suit looked perfectly harmonious. There's always that moment when you're looking at the same person and suddenly think, 'Wow,' right? That was one of those moments."
Kim Ji-min also recalled, "When we went on a trip abroad, we came back to the hotel to have dinner, and there were roses all over the entrance. Inside the restaurant, they had set up food and a cake, and I thought, 'He's romantic!' He does this kind of thing on regular days. He says that seeing me happy makes him happy."
She went on, "He told me, 'In a way, this could seem like a selfish thing to do. It's something I'm doing even though you didn't ask for it.' But when I heard that, I felt so grateful. He truly makes my heart flutter every day," then shyly smiled.
At the end of the video, Kim Ji-min reflected, "This year passed quickly. There were many days that I could smile," and looked back on the year.
She added, "It was meaningful because it was the first time my boyfriend and I made proper plans for next year as well. There will be good news next year, so... You know, because the two of us are becoming one."
Kim Ji-min and Kim Jun-ho, who have a 9-year age difference, have been publicly dating since April 2022.
This summer, the couple announced that they are planning to get married next year.
