Actor Lee Jang-woo mentioned marriage with his girlfriend, actress Cho Hye Won.
On December 1 episode of MBC's television show "Daejang's Banchan," actress Ha Ji Won made an appearance.
While having a meal together, Lee Jang-woo curiously asked Ha Ji Won, "So, are you not interested in getting married at all?"
Ha Ji Won replied, "That's right," adding, "There are just too many things I want to do."
Ha Ji Won then asked Lee Jang-woo, "You have a girlfriend, right?" and inquired about his thoughts on marriage.
Lee Jang-woo said, "Yes, I have a girlfriend. We've been together for a long time," referring to Cho Hye Won.
But about marriage, he just jokingly said, "I can't get married now because of Dae-ho hyung (announcer Kim Dae-ho). If I were to get married without him even being in a relationship, he'd probably say something like, 'You traitor!' He hasn't been in a relationship for eight years, you know."
About a year and a half ago, Lee Jang-woo publicly announced his relationship with Cho Hye Won.
They said to have met through KBS' drama "My Only One" and slowly fallen in love with each other as they remained friends.
At the end of last year, after receiving the Top Excellence Award at the "2023 MBC Entertainment Awards," Lee Jang-woo mentioned marriage with Cho Hye Won during his acceptance speech.
In May, during entertainer Kian84's YouTube show "Life Interview," Lee Jang-woo once again hinted that he is getting closer to marriage.
He said, "My father is quite old—he was born in 1939. He constantly brings up marriage and calls me every day to ask, 'When are you getting married?'"
Many are currently eager to know when he and Cho Hye Won will actually get married.
