TAEHYUN of K-pop boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) sang an Indonesian song for Indonesian fans.
On October 12, TXT successfully held the group's concert 'ACT : LOVE SICK' in Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of their world tour.
At the concert, TAEHYUN did something that melted the hearts of all Indonesian fans who went to the event.
It was that TAEHYUN sang a popular Indonesian song―'Hati-Hati Di Jalan' by Indonesian singer TULUS―for them.
It turned out TAEHYUN had started practicing the song after getting recommended by a fan on the official fan community a day ahead of the concert.
When one fan on the official fan community asked him to listen to songs by Indonesian singers, TAEHYUN asked, "Then, tell me a song that all Indonesians know."
To this, the fan told him that 'Hati-Hati Di Jalan' by TULUS was a very popular song in Indonesia, which he answered, "Got it."
It looked like TAEHYUN practiced the song hard until the concert the next day.
Before he sang the song on stage in front of thousands of Indonesian fans, he nervously commented, "Everyone, please sing with me if you know the song."
TAEHYUN sang the song for about 30 seconds, and the majority of fans immediately started singing along with him.
Once he finished singing, TAEHYUN shyly laughed and smiled as if he felt relieved to have completed singing the song in an unknown language without making any mistakes, although not perfect.
It was a big surprise gift to Indonesian fans, and they were touched by his sweet gift.
The videos of him singing 'Hati-Hati Di Jalan' were uploaded online following the concert, and other Indonesian fans expressed great happiness upon seeing them.
