American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth shared that he is really into K-pop right now.
On October 7, Charlie Puth sat down for an interview with Korea's largest music streaming site Melon.
During the interview, Charlie Puth mentioned working with JUNGKOOK of K-pop boy group BTS.
About four years ago, Charlie Puth and JUNGKOOK performed 'We Don't Talk Anymore', then they collaborated on a song 'Left and Right' released in June.
'Left and Right' has been much loved by listeners all around the world ever since it was released.
Charlie Puth said, "Everything went smoothly with JUNGKOOK. He finished his part only in a day. He had a perfect vocal."
He continued, "His key, pronunciation and voice were all perfect. Even the tiniest things were perfect. It was just perfect in every way. There was nothing to fix that I simply copied his singing and pasted it onto the song."
Then, Charlie Puth shared his great love for K-pop.
The singer stated, "NewJeans and SEVENTEEN have snatched my attention. But I love K-pop in general, really. I want to work with any K-pop stars out there. I'm super into K-pop these days."
He went on, "I've collaborated with BTS so far, and I would love to collaborate with more K-pop groups from now on. I want to hold a concert in Korea again as well!"
Charlie Puth has previously held two concerts in Korea, once in 2016 and 2018; it has been about four years since he performed in Korea.
His great number of fans are excitedly waiting for his next visit to Korea so that not only they not only could see him enjoying K-pop, but also perform for them.
