WOOYOUNG of K-pop boy group 2PM worried about his fellow member NICHKHUN being too kind after he lends him millions of won with no question.
On October 2 episode of KBS' television show 'H K Coin', the production team gave the hosts WOOYOUNG, Hong Jin-kyung, Cho Sae-ho and guest XIUMIN an interesting mission.
The mission was to borrow 100 million won (approximately 70,000 dollars) from their friends within 20 minutes.
Hong Jin-kyung and Cho Sae-ho unfortunately only managed to borrow the total of 1.01 million won (approximately 708 dollars) from their celebrity friends, so WOOYOUNG and XIUMIN were their hope.
WOOYOUNG said he would try calling NICHKHUN; when he picked it up, WOOYOUNG hesitantly said, "I'm truly sorry, but... I'm... It's just that... I really need some money right now. Would it be okay for me to borrow some from you?"
NICHKHUN asked how much he needed, which WOOYOUNG replied, "Could I possibly borrow like... 50 million won (approximately 35,000 dollars)?"
To this, NICHKHUN instantly responded, "50 million won? Where do I send it to?", about to send WOOYOUNG the money without even asking why he needed it so badly.
Then, WOOYOUNG, trying to borrow a little more money from him, said, "If it's okay, could I...?"
This got NICHKHUN worriedly ask WOOYOUNG if everything was okay, "Are you okay? Nothing bad is going on, right?", he asked.
WOOYOUNG answered, "No, no. There's nothing like that going on, but hyung, if it's possible, could I borrow slightly more than that? It would just be better if I had like 20 million won (approximately 14,000 dollars) on top of that."
Once again, NICHKHUN half-jokingly asked with a worried voice, "So, 70 million won (approximately 49,000 dollars)? You didn't kill anybody or anything, right? Everything is alright, yeah?"
WOOYOUNG burst out laughing and told him, "No, it's not like that. I'll text you my account number. Thank you! Thank you so much, hyung! I'll call you in a bit."
This time, XIUMIN called SEHUN and asked if he could lend him 30 million won (approximately 21,000 dollars), telling him that he cannot take his money out as all his money is in his savings account and he would suffer a loss if he took them out now.
SEHUN laughingly asked, "Hyung, are you drunk?", but immediately added, "I'm joking, I'll send the money to you."
Upon completing the mission, Hong Jin-kyung stated, "Wow, I was so surprised. Both of them were so cool about it. They're so kind as well."
But WOOYOUNG seemed more concerned than happy about completing their mission.
He said to the producer, "I'm genuinely worried about NICHKHUN. Is he going to be okay in this tough world? I mean, isn't he a fool? Honestly?", then sighed.
