K-pop boy group NCT 127's management agency, SM Entertainment, shared their official statement of apology after DOYOUNG's photo was excluded from NCT 127's new album.
On September 16, NCT 127 released the group's fourth full album―'2 Baddies'.
Shortly after the release, however, fans found out that DOYOUNG's photo was not included on the back cover of the album.
Of course, fans were upset at the mistake, and expressed their huge disappointment towards SM Entertainment for making such a big mistake.
As the issue continues to snowball online, SM Entertainment shared their apology.
SM Entertainment stated, "We sincerely apologize to the fans, DOYOUNG, and the rest of NCT 127 members for failing to meticulously check all parts during the album's cover design process."
The agency continued, "After checking the omission of the image, we tried to find a way to replace the image in the album released today. However, we found out that it was difficult to retrieve the albums that are already in the process of being delivered to vendors and customers."
Lastly, SM Entertainment shared that they will send out new booklets to those who receive the albums with the error.
The agency shared, "The booklets will be re-printed as soon as possible, and sent out to those who have received the Digipack album with the missing photo. Details will be announced separately as soon as they are finalized."
