BANGCHAN of K-pop boy group Stray Kids talked about how he got close to LISA of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK.
Recently, BANGCHAN sat down for his live broadcast series 'CHAN's Room' on V LIVE and interacted with his fans.
During the live broadcast, BANGCHAN reacted to multiple songs recommended by fans, and one of the songs was BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez's collaboarative single, 'Ice Cream'.
In regard to the song, BANGCHAN said, "This is a really good song. I was a big fan of 'How You Like That', but I was actually quite surprised when they released this song."
He went on, "I feel like the song really suits the summer vibe. Very hip. BLACKPINK sunbaenims are always cool, you know."
Then BANGCHAN surprised his fans by revealing his close friendship with one of BLACKPINK members, LISA.
He said, "I actually knew her (LISA) since I was a trainee, because I'm close with BAMBAM of GOT7. Thanks to him, I'm also close with LISA."
BANGCHAN, LISA, and BAMBAM are K-pop stars that were all born in the same year of 1997.
