Singer/actresses IU and Suzy showed their support for those affected by the recent torrential rain in South Korea.
Recently, South Korea has been facing inundating rain in record amounts.
Concentrated in central and Southern regions of the country, the pouring rain caused thousands of citizens evacuate from their neighborhood.
Then on August 11, the Korea Disaster Relief Association revealed that IU has made a generous donation of 100 million won (approximately 84,400 dollars) to help the victims of the floods.
On the same day, Suzy also quietly donated 100 million won to the association without letting her agency know about the donation.
Both IU and Suzy are known for their continuous donations to help those in need.
IU recently donated to help low-income families during the COVID-19 pandemic, while Suzy donated to purchase sanitary products for low-income young women.
