K-pop boy group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT)'s management agency Big Hit Entertainment announced plans to change TXT's official fan club name after it was discovered that it had chosen the same one as Tiffany Young of girl group Girls' Generation.
Previously on April 25, Big Hit Entertainment announced TXT's official fan club name to be 'YOUNG ONE'.
It was explained that 'YOUNG ONE' shows TXT members' hope to stay with their fans forever, as 'young one' means 'forever' in Korean, while the number 0 is pronounced 'young'; so the fan club means 'We were nothing, and then we became one'.
Not long after this announcement was made, however, fans found out that Tiffany Young has been using the same name for her solo fan club since last year.

Then on May 6, Big Hit Entertainment issued an apology to fans and said that they will revise the official fan club name for TXT.
The agency stated, "We were unaware that the offical fan club name for TXT was being used by another artist for their fan club until we announced the name last month."
They continued, "Similarities to pre-existing fan club names were not completely cross-checked in the process of choosing the official fan club name. We deeply apologize to all fans and anyone who might have been offended by this."
They added, "At this time, we have decided to revise TXT's official fan club name. Anyone can submit their ideas until May 12. We plan to carefully and thoughtfully check the fan-submitted ideas before we make our next announcement with the chosen name."
Meanwhile, TXT released an English version of one of its songs 'Cat & Dog' on May 3.
