K-pop boy group Super Junior's member RyeoWook shocked another member EunHyuk by telling him that he still got paid for an advertisement that the group had shot without him when he was in the military.
On April 30 episode of MBC every1's talk show 'Video Star', EunHyuk and RyeoWook were invited to join the talk.
During the talk, RyeoWook, who completed his military service last July, expressed gratitude to his fellow members.
RyeoWook said, "Actually, my fellow members should not know about this, but... I got paid when I was in the military. I treated myself with some good food with that money. I truly thank them for that."
Upon hearing RyeoWook's remark, the hosts as well as EunHyuk could not hide their astonishment.
EunHyuk responded while trying not to panic, "What? For real? I didn't know about this at all!"
Then, the host Park Na-rae asked, "This is hard to believe! Do you guys still equally split your earnings or something?"
To this question, EunHyuk answered, "We used to do that, but we don't do that anymore. Each member only gets paid for their own work."
RyeoWook explained, "The contract for that one particular advertisement stated that all Super Junior members got paid even the ones who didn't participate in the shooting."
With a shocked face, EunHyuk said, "I had not read the contract thoroughly. I always just skim contracts. Now that I know this sort of things happen, I feel like I need to go over them more carefully from now on."
RyeoWook commented, "Out of all members of the group, LeeTeuk is that one guy who checks every detail of his payment. He always makes sure he gets paid exactly the amount that he is supposed to get paid. But EunHyuk is completely the opposite."
Meanwhile, Super Junior successfully wrapped up its world tour 'SUPER SHOW 7S' in Seoul on March 2 and 3.
