K-pop boy group BTS' member JUNGKOOK came up with an ambitious plan to help the group's leader with his English.
On April 14, JUNGKOOK held a live broadcast after unveiling the first stage of the group's new track 'Boy With Luv' at NBC's 'Saturday Night Live'.
On this day, JUNGKOOK started up the conversation by saying, "I was just trying to set up a tripod but I accidentally hit the start button. So here we are."
Whilst talking about various things, JUNGKOOK showed his will to study English and there was a sweet and touching reason behind it.
The reason he wanted to learn more about the language was to help RM who has been covering most of the interviews the group had with the foreign press.
JUNGKOOK said, "I'm thinking a year. A year. If I could constantly use the language, I think I would be able to help RM in a year."
He continued, "I understood some of the things RM said during the interview, and some of the questions that the interviewer asked us today. That was kind of amazing."
A few minutes later, he laid out some English words that he learned recently such as 'confidence', 'interpret', and 'argue'.
Upon seeing JUNGKOOK's broadcast, his fans commented, "I'm sure you can do that. You can do anything.", "A year seems pretty short but you make everything possible.", "Aww. You wanted to help RM? How sweet.", and so on.
Meanwhile, BTS is sweeping the charts with its new album 'MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA' which was released on April 12.
