K-pop project girl group IZ*ONE has set a new record with its debut music video.
On October 29, IZ*ONE unveiled its much-anticipated debut title track 'La Vie en Rose' music video on YouTube.
The music video garnered more than 4.5 million views in the first 24 hours of its release, making the group to have the most-viewed debut music video on the release date.
Previous record was held by boy group Stray Kids who garnered over 4.2 million views in the first day with 'District 9'.
On top of setting a groundbreaking record, IZ*ONE sold a total of 34,295 copies of its debut album 'COLOR*IZ' on the first day, which is also the highest debut album sales record on Hanteo chart.
The record was previously held by BLACKPINK who sold a total of 19,094 copies of its first mini album 'SQUARE UP' on the first day of its release.
IZ*ONE is a rookie girl group with 12 members, who are the finalists of popular survival audition program 'Produce 48'.
