K-pop boy group PENTAGON returned in five months after its mega-hit song 'Shine'.
On September 18 episode of SBS MTV 'The Show', PENTAGON showed its fun performance to 'Naughty Boy'.
PENTAGON released its seventh mini album 'Thumbs Up!' on September 10, and 'Naughty Boy' is the title track of this album.
'Naughty Boy' is a song which shows the playful side of PENTAGON just like the group's past songs.
The frog-themed stage may make you wonder why it was decorated that way, and the title of the song is the major clue for that.
Actually, the Korean title of 'Naughty Boy' is 'Tree Frog', which refers to a Korean proverb about a mischievous frog who did not listen to his mother, but changed upon her death.
In the lyrics, PENTAGON members refer themselves as frogs who become considerate of others after falling in love.
They say, "When people used to tell me to be quiet, I would make more noise.", "I never listened to what others said.", "I have changed thanks to you.", "I'll be anything for you. Just stay with me forever.", and so on.
