Two obsessive fans of actor Lee Jong Suk will be investigated by the police.
On September 18, Thailand's Thairath TV reported that the two fans caught using false identity as airport officers have now been caught and are currently being investigated by the local police.
According to the report, the two fans gathered Lee Jong Suk's flight schedule in advance, prior to the actor's visit to Thailand for his fan meeting event.
On the day when Lee Jong Suk heads back to Korea, the two fans camouflaged themselves as officers at the Suvarnabhumi Airport who check passengers' passport.
However, they eventually get caught by the police after one of the fans posted a clip of Lee Jong Suk at the airport on her social media account.
The police stated, "Anyone who trespasses restricted area at the airport might receive a penalty of maximum 5 years in prison. This case is especially severe because it may affect airport evaluation result conducted by the ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization)."
