Canadian singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes spoke about a collaboration with K-pop boy group BTS recently.
On June 19 episode of Toronto's popular radio show 'The Roz & Mocha Show', Shawn Mendes mentioned his plans to collaborate with BTS.
Shawn Mendes said, "The latest on the collaboration, they're a hard group to get with. They are BTS. They're busy people. I have no lyrics on their collaboration yet. It'll happen. Promise."
He continued, "I can't give you a date, because we haven't hung out and wrote a song yet, but it will happen. 'Cause I love them and their fans, too. So, I promise."
Previously at the 2017 American Music Awards, BTS and Shawn Mendes' discussion regarding a potential collaboration was captured on camera for BTS' YouTube.
BTS and Shawn Mendes have continued to address their desire to work with each other in past interviews and are known to be fans of one another.
As both acts have topped the Billboard 200 with their latest albums, and their fans demonstrate strong power, many people are expecting their joint song to be a huge success.
