Korean celebrities' participation in the ice bucket challenge to support the ALS patients garners attention from the public.
In recent days, several celebrities have released videos of them leaving a meaningful message with the ice bucket challenge.
The ice bucket challenge, known as one of the most representative campaigns for the ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) patients, films a person dumping over a bucket of water and ice over the individual's head.
With the video, the campaign helps to promote an awareness of the disease.
The 2018 ice bucket challenge was started by SEAN from hip-hop group JINUSEAN to support the construction of the medical hospital for the ALS patients since May 29, and various celebrities have joined the campaign.
Among K-pop artists, Girls' Generation's Seohyun and Sooyoung, singer IU, and WINNER's YOON have joined.
Besides these artists, fashion model Han Hye Jin and MC Jun Hyun Moo have also joined to film the video as a couple.
The campaign still takes place with incessant participation of many celebrities and spreads the significance of the activity.
