The reason why K-pop boy group BTS releases albums in Korean for its international fans is unveiled online and impresses people.
In recent days, BTS has swept the Billboard charts with the release of its latest album 'LOVE YOURSELF 轉 Tear'.
Because it has been more than 12 years since foreign language songs have topped the charts, the public pays attention on the BTS' remarkable accomplishment.
On top of the group's groundbreaking records, some people wonder why BTS does not release albums and songs in English for the international audience.
Bang Shi-hyuk, the producer of BTS, has mentioned the reason from an interview previously held in December last year.
He noted, "BTS will not release songs in English for international markets."
He continued, "I don't think it's right to teach artists to speak in English in order to top the international charts."
Bang Shi-hyuk highlighted, saying, "When a K-pop artist learns English, signs a contract with American agency, and gets love from the American audience with English songs, the artist just becomes one of Asian singers debuted in America."
Bang Shi-hyuk's firm stance to produce songs in Korean in order to spread the influence of K-pop absolutely brought BTS a greater success.
