K-pop boy group SHINee shared their true feelings about the passing of its beloved fellow member JONGHYUN last December.

On May 30, four members of SHINee―MINHO, TAEMIN, ONEW, and KEY made a guest appearance on MBC's variety show 'Radio Star'.

During the talk, one of the hosts Yoon Jong Shin said, "A sad incident occurred to SHINee recently. The group has suddenly become four members. I heard that you guys hesitated to come on this show as well."

MINHO answered, "We worried about appearing on any shows, really. I wondered if it was okay for the rest of the members to look like we are having fun on TV shows, and even had a second thought about releasing an album."

He continued, "But I think time has helped us to get over our grief. We started talking about our future together after a while."

TAEMIN said, "It happened when my personality was changing to be more outgoing. At that time, I was becoming more ambitious about promoting as a solo artist. But then I realized how great all SHINee members were."

Although TAEMIN wanted to carry on with his talk, he could not continue as he began to tear up.

ONEW also teared up after saying, "I believed I shouldn't show myself crying in front of others.", then apologized for not being able to continue the talk.

KEY said, "After the incident, we all took time to consult with a psychiatrist. It was difficult hearing people asking me if I was okay. That is why I publicly asked everyone to treat me like how they normally would through my social media account. It was my way of getting back on track."

He added, "As we wanted to continue promoting as a group, we thought that incident was something that needed to be addressed by us before someone else does. But it really hurt our feelings when we heard some people saying that we were using our sadness as a part of a marketing strategy."

MINHO wrapped up the topic by saying, "When we perform or release a new album, it would be nice if everyone could try thinking that it is not just four of us, but he is still with us. I hope you keep supporting us."
