K-pop boy group Super Junior's member YeSung is raising his fans' concerns.
Recently, Super Junior's reality show 'Super TV' aired an episode in which showed how much food YeSung consumes in a day.
On the day of when this episode was filmed, YeSung had a hectic schedule that he was awake since the early in the morning, and stayed up until late at night.
However, the only thing YeSung ate on this day was a bite-sized snack each in the morning and night, and half of an avocado that a fellow member EunHyuk took out from his burger.
At the end of the day, one of the production crew asked, "You barely ate today. Aren't you hungry?".
YeSung answered, "I am. I am so hungry, but I'm just trying my best not to eat much."
He continued, "I watch my figure about a month before we are scheduled to shoot cover photos for our album. I stop myself from eating, since I know that I will regret it the next day."
The reason why YeSung goes on an extreme diet is because he has a kidney problem, which makes his face swell up easily.
Therefore, he cuts down his daily food intake in order to look less swollen.
After watching this episode, many of YeSung's fans have shown concerns about his health, and they have been commenting on how it breaks their hearts to see him going through a hard time.
Meanwhile, YeSung's group Super Junior has recently entered the Billboard's Latin chart with the group's latest title track 'Lo Siento' for the first time as a K-pop group.
