Korean singers Son Ho-young, SE7EN and boy group BTOB's member Lee Chang-seob have been confirmed take on the leading role in a musical 'Dogfight'.
On April 20, it was reported that Son Ho-young, SE7EN and Lee Chang-seob will play the main character 'Eddie Birdlace' in a musical 'Dogfight'.
The story of 'Dogfight' begins with 'Eddie Birdlace' and his friends having a party in San Francisco the night before they ship off to Vietnam on November 21, 1963.
The group of young marines then puts in money on a cruel game which they call it a 'Dogfight', where every man sets out to find the ugliest girl in town and brings her to the party.
'Eddie Birdlace' meets a waitress 'Rose Fenny' (Chung Jae Eun/Yang Seo-yoon) in a diner, and takes her to the party.
At the party, 'Rose Fenny' finds out about the bet and angrily leaves.
After an inauspicious beginning, an awkward love story begins to unfold.
With the announcement of the cast, 'Dogfight' unveiled its official posters that highlight each cast member's unique charms.
The musical premiered Off-Broadway in 2012, and made a huge success in many countries around the world after its premiere.
'Dogfight' aims to take the audience on a romantic and heartbreaking theatrical journey that will stay with them long after the performance.
The musical is scheduled to be held from June 1 until August 12 at Kwanglim Art Center, Seoul.
