World star BTS has proven their success―They are moving to the most luxurious apartment in Seoul!
On December 13, a relevant source from entertainment industry stated, "BTS moved to Hannam-dong's most luxurious apartment 'THE HILL' in the beginning of December. It's for them to enjoy better and comfortable living space together with members."
The source continued, "It is their boss Bang Si-hyuk's kind consideration. They did not buy it though, they signed a contract in November. Everyone's satisfied with the choice."
BTS' new dorm 'THE HILL' is the most expensive apartment in Seoul. Only 600 households are living in the apartment complex. Last year, an apartment with the area of exclusive use space of 244.89㎡ was traded for 8,200 million won (approximately 7,495,430 dollars).
According to the Ministry of Land Infrastructure and Transport's report, from January 2017 to November 2017, top 10 traded apartments in Seoul were all from'THE HILL'.
Their new dorm is such a hot topic because it was members' choice to stay together. Usually, when idol members work together for a long time, they want to move out of the dorm and live alone. But for BTS, it was different. Members became close by living together in the same dorm for a long time, showing their tight and close relationship.
The relevant source revealed one of the top reasons why BTS moved is due to the apartment's secured privacy protection and the view from the apartment. As they are traveling domestically as well as abroad often, members wanted quiet resting area. Thus, they chose an apartment where it has the most protection from trespassing.
It has been reported that the head of the prominent conglomerate, business, and political figures as well as popular celebrities live at 'THE HILL'. The popular celebrities living at the luxurious apartment include singer Lee Seung Chul, actor Ahn Sung-ki, and actress Han Hyo Joo. It garnered many people's attention lately as Korean actress Choo Ja Hyun also bought an apartment at 'THE HILL'.
Last month, BTS was invited to the '2017 American Music Awards' in the stateside. It was first K-pop group ever to make a debut at the awards, proving BTS' global popularity. Moreover, on December 11 they re-wrote the K-pop history as they were listed as '2017 Top 10 Artists of the Year' of Billboard.
