Taiwan's false report almost broke newly-wed actress Song Hye-kyo and Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi's close friendship.
On October 31, Korean netizens and press criticized Chinese media companies for putting drones at Song-Song couple's private wedding illegally, and streaming it without consent.

Then today, on November 1, Taiwanese media ETtoday reported Zhang Ziyi had connection with one of the Chinese media outlets that flew drones in Song-Song couple's wedding.
But it was clearly a fake news.
Today, Zhang Ziyi refuted, "It's completely untrue and groundless."
Earlier, Taiwanese news outlet reported that Zhang Ziyi's husband Wang Feng, who is a singer, is affiliated with Bitmusic―media outlet accused of live streaming Song-Song couple's wedding without consent.
However, relevant source reported, Zhang Ziyi's husband is only associated with the music service application and it is impossible for him to be part of the media outlet.
Since the late 2000s, Song Hye-kyo's works received explosive popularity from all over Asia. Therefore, she became one of the top Hallyu stars in great China region, although she suffered numerous times with Chinese media's false reports.
Earlier it was reported that Song Hye-kyo and Zhang Ziyi developed close friendship even before co-starring in the Chinese movies 'The Grandmaster' and 'The Crossing' together.
But Chinese media portrayed Zhang Ziyi as a friend who just attended friend's wedding for commercial purposes.

Zhang Ziyi arrived Korea on October 30, just a day before Song-Song couple's wedding. During group photo time, Zhang Ziyi stood very close to the bride and husband, which seemed to prove her close relationship with Song-Song couple. Zhang Ziyi also attended the couple's after party and cheered for their happy future together.
