Korean entertainment industry is expressing its condolences on actor Kim Joo Hyuk's passing.
On October 30 around 4:30 PM, Kim Joo Hyuk was involved in a car accident where his car got overturned on a road in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
Kim Joo Hyuk was immediately taken to a hospital unconscious, but he passed away around 6:30 PM KST.
Following the news, various events have been canceled out of respect the sudden loss.
The live broadcast event for actor Choi Min Sik, Park Shin Hye and Ryu Jun Yeol's upcoming film 'Blackened Heart' has been canceled.
Actor Choi Min Sik expressed his sincere condolences on cherished fellow actor's unfortunate death.
Red carpet event and VIP premiere for the film 'Brother' starring Ma Dong Suk and Lee Honey have also been canceled.
SBS' variety show 'Running Man' has also stopped filming as Kim Joo Hyuk's lover actress Lee You Young was filming on set when she heard the news.
Singer Jeong Sewoon, actress Nam Jihyun and many more canceled their scheduled live broadcasts as well.
Meanwhile, the police have decided to perform an autopsy in order to examine the exact cause of Kim Joo Hyuk's death.
