Commemorating the group's debut anniversary, K-pop boy group Highlight's Yong Junhyung made a generous donation.
On October 19, it was reported that Yong Junhyung recently donated 10.16 million won (approximately 9,000 dollars) to 'Food for the Hungry'.
A representative from the organization stated, "Yong Junhyung donated on the day of Highlight's new music release for the group's 8th debut anniversary. He asked for the donation to be used for the children in need."
He added, "His donation will be used towards our yearly campaign called 'Hope On', which helps Korean children in poverty to get through cold winter."
It was reported that Yong Junhyung made his decision through fellow member Yoon Dujun, who has been supporting the organization since 2012.
Highlight's management agency Around US Entertainment commented, "To pay back the outpouring love received from the fans, Yong Junhyung made the donation to commemorate the meaningful day together."
Meanwhile, Highlight made its comeback with 'CELEBRATE' on October 16, celebrating the group's 8th debut anniversary.
