K-pop rookie boy group JBJ's Takada Kenta(Kenta) expressed his gratitude toward Wanna One's Hwang Min Hyun.
On October 18, the Japanese member of JBJ talked about his feelings to debut in Korea, and how he managed to live in a different country.
Kenta said, "It wasn't easy. However, friends that I met during the 'Produce 101 Season 2' helped me a lot."
During his recent interview, Kenta named Hwang Min Hyun as the one who helped him the most during the 'Produce 101 Season 2' days.
Kenta said, "I had some difficulty communicating with other contestants as Korean is not my first language. Whenever I had hard time understanding certain Korean words, Hwang Min Hyun translated them in Japanese as he is fluent in Japanese due to his past NU'EST promotions in Japan."
Meanwhile, Kenta's JBJ successfully made its debut with 'FANTASY' and held its debut showcase at Hwajung Stadium of Korea University, Seoul.
Hwang Min Hyun's Wanna One is scheduled to make its comeback on November 13.
