K-pop boy group BTS finally achieved their goal to enter the Billboard's 'Hot 100' chart with 'DNA'!
On September 26, it was announced by Billboard that BTS' newest track 'DNA' has entered the main chart 'Hot 100', ranked as #85.
'DNA' got this result with 5.3 million U.S. streams(first week) and 14,000 downloads.
Due to this exceptional outcome, 'DNA' also ranked #37 at Billboard's 'Digital Song Sales' chart at its first entry.
Other K-pop artists who have entered the 'Hot 100' include PSY with 'Gangnam Style' 'Gentleman' 'Hangover' and 'DADDY', Wonder Girls with 'Nobody' and CL with 'Lifted'.
BTS is the first-ever K-pop boy group to enter the 'Hot 100' chart.
Previously, BTS members expressed their wish to enter Billboard's 'Hot 100' chart one day.
After they finally made their wish come true, BTS' Rap Monster expressed his gratitude by saying "We did it! Just heard it from studio. Thank you so much for everything ARMY" "and teamwork makes the dream work." on Twitter.
