Korea's beloved actress Moon Geun Young made her first appearance after seven months.
On September 11, actress Moon attended a press conference for the 22nd Busan International Film Festival(BIFF).
This was her first media appearance after receiving emergency surgery back in February.
During the press conference, Moon Geun Young expressed her gratitude to all the love and support she received during her absence.
On February 3, it was reported that Moon Geun Young was diagnosed with compartment syndrome, went through an emergency surgery right after.
The syndrome causes sudden pressure onto blood vessels and muscles, may lead to internal bleeding and necrosis of tissues.
Her surgery went successfully, but Moon Geun Young had to cancel her schedule for the play 'Romeo and Juliet'.
Meanwhile, Moon Geun Young's comeback film 'Glass Garden' was chosen as the opening film for the 22nd BIFF.
BIFF is scheduled to begin on October 12.
